Navigating your mental health can be unsettling and confusing.   There are different types of behavioral health conditions that sometimes require the help of mental health professionals.  If you or someone you know has mental illness, or struggling with their emotions, or concerns about their mental health, there are lot of resources for you, your friend of family members.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, a condition with symptoms such as inattentiveness, impulsivity, and hyperactivity.  ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) is the former name.

Anxiety Disorder
People frequently feel intense, excessive and persistent worry and fear with daily situations. 

Eating Disorders
An abnormal or disturbed eating habits (example, Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge-Eating Disorder)

Mood Disorders
Emotional Disturbances with prolonged periods or excessive sadness, excessive happiness and sometimes both.

Substance Abuse and Addiction
People with substance abuse problems can often quit or change their behavior.  Addiction, on the other hand, means you cannot stop using even if the substance can cause you harm.
